Current.com really comes down to you guys – our community. Sure, we like to play too, by contributing items, commenting, and voting, but without you guys Current.com just wouldn’t be as cool as it is. It was this line of thinking that prompted our brand spanking new incentives program (coming really, really soon).
The gist is, this will be a way for us to thank you for all the hard work you do within our community, and it will give others a chance to see how much effort you put into the site on a daily basis. There will be levels, and there might even be some swagalicious treats and powers involved. My lips are sealed.
Most importantly, please know that something is on the horizon, and when it launches you should be getting some emails from us with all the relevant details. So keep an eye on your inbox, and check back here for updates.

I'm not sure i want others to have a chance to see how much effort I put into the site on a daily basis.
and i'm certain i don't like the idea of levels?...sounds elitist and exclusive.
Don't need treets either...my dog lieks treats, tho...he'd prolly appreciate y'all tossin a few snausages his way....although, I am trying to get him off food containing preservatives so he'll live longer.

the new badges are cool, but how are you counting? i've had 9 pods on TV, and my badges say 12 contributions and 3 original videos? pods are supposed to = original videos or contributions? either way, I'm confused.

@Gabe -- we've noticed that producer level counts are in need of a tweek. We're working on a fix and you should see a change soon.
Once the fix goes out, you should receive producer credit for any VC2 Top Contender/VCAM Contender videos you upload, as well as any of these that get picked for TV. Any non-VC2/VCAM videos are counted under as general contributions.
