Two young guys, Joshua and Johnny D, set up a "dating coaching" service in North Carolina, find some success coaching men and women on getting what they want romantically out of life. Flash forward to Fall 2007: The dating coach duo set up shop in an expensive NYC loft and hope to translate their NC charm and dating advice to the big city...

What can two guys from NC teach the vicious dating pool of NYC? Can they transform the lives of their clients and at the same time transform themselves and their business in a New York success story? This pod will follow Joshua and Johnny as they ply their romantic advice and charm on the mean streets of Manhattan as they whip the island into shape as only two boys from NC can do....

(We studied psychology with a focus in relationship and social psychology and in an underground field full of these renegade psychologists that reported studies along with us to further their understanding of social interaction. A lot of people ask us how we are qualified and my favorite answer is Johnny's, "Everyone else thinks we are." :) He's a funny guy.)

    I'm sorry,

"I didn't know why I bought this rose....but now I realize it was for you".... Eckh! It's soooooo cheeeeesy. Lines are always cheesy.

    Great pod though.

Haha. I completely agree. And the clients thought so too. It's a sincerity exercise. If you can be light hearted and playful enough to know you are doing something completely cheesy and still stay sincere and confident while you're doing it, you'll have no problem being sincere when you should be. This was a crazy exercise but it always reaches the desired effect: The clients know that showing even the neediest form of attraction STILL isn't that scary.

I love this exercise. It brings the man out of our clients.

    Best,
    Joshua

You're right. You have to be pretty damn confident to repeat a line that makes women cringe over and over again, not to mention yourself. But as shown, someone will appreciate it, so all the gooey cheesiness of it, is worth it.

Okay, I have to say that these people look like they're having a lot of fun. I know a lot of really good guys that just need that bit of social confidence to get them out there so that women can stop saying, "The good guys are all taken!"

It seems like this would be a good late high school or college course. I think a lot of people would go for it, especially if it's as fun as it looks.

These guys are the real thing. They don't just teach you pickup lines and junk. They actually transform your lifestyle and personality into the person you want to be. After that, Getting women to notice you and like you is much easier. I recommend them to all of my friends, whether they are having problems with their love life or not. Take their course! It will change your life.

    LOL - This is great.

Yes, there are 'naturals' in this world. But for the rest of us mere mortals, something like the 'flower gambit' is used just as "training wheels" to conquer or just reduce the anxiety of being social - in any situation, especially when you are physically attracted to a stranger.

Unless you've gone through it (or a natural) you don't know the adrenalin rush that occurs just before you approach. However, even if you crash-&-burn, you realize are still alive & after a while the real lesson is it is not about you.

Once you give up seeking approval from the interaction but just being friendly & even flirting -- being social becomes just a way of life, it is tremendously liberating.

    Cheers,
    Menace

    Rubber baby buggy bumpers... haha

Here is my testimonial from my first program with The Art of Charm which was followed by what you see of me and Miss Cheesy in the video... Great Stuff!

“Their teachings not only helped me with women, but my overall social ability… I am a different person… it changed my life, my attitude, and overall outlook on life…they are great teachers that genuinely care about your well being and growth… It was the single greatest investment in myself and my life!”

    Hey manosalon!

Thanks for the response. Actually though, the 'flower line' isn't a pickup line. It's an exercise designed to give guys confidence even in the face of rejection. It's not supposed to be a 'good pickup line' to use out there, although you can make anything effective, as evidenced in the video.

Allow me to invite you to one of our classes here in New York City as my guest, free of charge. I'd be happy to show you what we really teach here, and you're more than welcome to stop by. Our office number is: 917.720.4104 -give us a call and we'll wrap the details.
