It's very sad anyone should have their life cut short. All life should be preserved.

Holocaust was such a tragedy that must never be forgotten. That is one of the many things we learn from the Jewish Culture. To remember!
We will forgive but we will never forget it!
We must be alert because the people are getting weaker by the hour and that is what it takes for another Hitler to raise into power.
I compare the Muni Acoustic Invasion here in San Francisco with Hitler's invasion of Poland. Think about it on a Micro level and you will realize that it is the same process. Criminals raising into power and passive aggressively invading other people habitats right in front of other lethargic people. Really, the comparison is not far off!

I love the two minute pause. Two minutes doesn't seem alot, but when everyone stops, and collectively remembers and thinks about those people who were robbed of their lives, it's a beautiful thing. As long as we try to remember, we will never forget, and hopefully, never repeat such a disgusting act against humanity.

This is great. I like the way the people of Iserael are willing to admit this tragedy happened, unlike the sterotype they're often judged. They somehow are even so wrongly judged by people I know because of that nasty Iran leader. How? i don't know, they have nothing to do with him so why they're blaming I don't know.
TWO minutes? How come here in Scotland we're only doing 1 then? Oh, well, I'll do longer instead, better feeling.

Thanks for posting Jasmine. It's moving to hear your compassionate voices here on Current.com.
I'm not very religious but I happen to be culturally and genetically Jewish American. Sometimes I think we Jews are getting dumped on by some people still. I know that Palestinians,African Americans and native cultures are hurting also. Much seems to be overreaction to US media and how it portrays the middle east entities in sound bites:
Israel good ..Palestine bad...USA good..Christian good...Muslim terroristsAfter hearing these endless memes, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme some people are so weary of hearing this one sided dribble on Fox and CNN that they tend to attack the other side.
On Current and other free media I sometimes hear the opposite exaggerations. This is in heartfelt defense of the apparent underdogs. This is not a way to peace and understanding either.
It makes people like me and my loved ones feel victimized and that leads to more distrust of "others".and continues the cycle. We need to stop lumping groups of people together with their governments or leaders and military and look at human beings that make up the group to solve the problems.
