Short but sweet . . .
Just off the House floor today, the Crypt overheard House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers tell two other people: "We're closing in on Rove. Someone's got to kick his ass."
Asked a few minutes later for a more official explanation, Conyers told us that Rove has a week to appear before his committee. If he doesn't, said Conyers, "We'll do what any self-respecting committee would do. We'd hold him in contempt. Either that or go and have him arrested."

Don't just hold Rove in contempt. That's much too lenient. Rove deserves to be extroardinary rendered indefinitely at the Dick Vader undisclosed house of horrors. C'mon, Mr. Conyers! Extraordinary Rendition!

That sounds great! Do you know that Hannity & Colmes call this specimen a "Great American" and aslo the "Architect". The architect of what? Getting Bush elected by cheating and coersion. After Karl Rove, someone should kick Fox News' ass right off the air!

It's about time we right the wrongs the Bush Adminstration has done. Rove will break, and he will bring the beginning of the end of Bush!
-
Wouldn't it be great to see that evil little creep arrested. I'd love to witness him in shackles and jail clothes shuffling along to sing like a canary after a few days in jail. Arrest him.

That sounds like something those pair of asshats would say about that chubby little peckerwood. Those two wouldn't know what a great American was even if Thomas Jefferson himself walked into their studio and started beating them with the butt of a musket. That'd be something to see wouldn't it? Chairman Conyers is right, and I think every American should get five minutes alone with Rove.

DAMN! What's going on today?! California gives the Federal Government the finger by defending liberty and ruling a ban on gay marriage unconstitutional! Olbermann tells Bush to "shut the hell up!" Biden calls Bush's comments "B_LLSH_T!" And Conyers puts a cherry on top by saying "someone's gotta kick [Rove's] ass" and possibly put him in contempt and arrest him!
I'M FEELIN' GOOD! Time to grab my Ron Paul r3volution sign, megaphone (maybe some rotten tomatoes and eggs) and go looking for a government scumbag! :-D -
that's some tough talk JC, and i'm all for it.just a little reminder in case you've forgot.your talking about taking on one of pontius pilate's gang members................ cover your butt.

i've noticed a trend in curse words attracting attention in all media - i saw the new " speed racer" movie , and even it had " ass " , "shit" and "hell" in it , not to mention the old finger - and it seems that whenever a politician employs a curse word , it sort of implies he's "for real" - it's almost as if the use of curse words in the vernacular is some kind of reaction against the sugar coated BS which this country has been fed for 8 years - i am not impressed - and when i wanna hear some guy talking about kicking ass , he'd better be having some asshole on the ground , administering on the spot impromptu proctological exams with his foot up some dude's actual asshole - otherwise , it's just the same ol' same ol' .

They are just used as an exclamation point. Just like we all use them.

Good for Conyers!!!!!
I've liked Conyers for sometime!!!!!
Rove is a turd! A fat kid who never grew up and has been taking it out on the world ever since. Of the many crimes he's committed, one of the worst is violating the trust of the American people.

White Male voters be damed!!!
(Why Ohio did you forsake me in '04?) -
Hey, Hey Gang.
Hats off to all of you for being such active contributors. Whist we understand everyone is passionate about their views, it’s important that we keep the chatter and thread on discussion, not personal attacks or those that may cause upset.

I'm thinking about designing a custom jail suit for Karl Rove. I think a lovely shade of orange, with lace at the bottom of the sleeves, and legs. Maybe a drop seat with pearl buttons in the back. I think he would look simply dashing in that.

I can invision it Marilyn! ;-)You may want to open up a design shop because I'm thinking when it's all said and done just one custom suit won't nearly cover the need.

I know this is useless, and I know not one of who will care because of the blinding hatered that you have for those of us, yes your fellow citizens, (62 million people) who voted for PRESIDENT Bush (3,012,166 more votes than Kerry actually got, I might add). That is right! Blame us! That is what you really mean. You blame the 62 million people who put them back in office. You blame the 31 states that Bush won, 31 states one of the most lopsided elections in recent history
You know, Why the heck stop at Bush, Cheney, or even Rove, I mean 62 million of us put them back in the position. Why stop with just them? They would have had no power what so ever had the 62 million of us had not voted for them, Let's put all of us on trial for the "crimes" ( which I don't believe that they have commited) that our elected officials have commited. Heck let's even forgo a trial and just shoot us on the spot. I mean that is what some of you want to do to Bush. Well quess what without the 62 million people that voted him in 2004 he would not be there today. So let's just shoot us on the spot
You may like this idea. Right! But no You can't like it. You know why.
Because then you would have to admit, that Bush did not steal the election He was voted in fair and square.
You can not deal with THAT. -
Impeach him!
-
It's about time! I want to see them arrest him! I think he'll look good in handcuffs. The mug shot seen round the world. That would be a picture worth saving.
Accountability and shame brought back to American Justice. Sounds too good to be true. I won't hold my breath, but I have 'hope'!

I followed you up to your last paragraph.
To answer your question, My conscience is totally clear. I don't support a president who is a liar, a power-mad tyrant, and an incompetent administrator, and I don't feel terrible about it either. Bush is not that type of President. You know how I know this, he leaves office January, 2009. A dictator never leaves office. Hence his Presidentcy is not a dictatorship.
See to me that is nothing more than a rant in the last paragraph. I totally understand not agreeing with his policies but calling him names and wish death on or someone else in his administration who has only tried to protect to the best of their abilities the people of this country is wrong. And it does not help the situation or the discussion.
