WOO! Perfect Strangers! Sergio, THANK YOU for picking Balki over Neil Diamond.

I think that mellencamp is very patriotic, but that he saturates his image with that idea a little too much.

So many contrived and "Countryfried" songs to chose from. The mind reels, jigs, boot-scoots and clogs in dad-burned confusion.
BTW, I loved how Reagan used Bruce's tune in his campaign, oblivious to it's lyric's true meaning.
"Ain't that America?" -
J-Coug, as I refer to him, really needs his patriotism reeled in a bit. Me loves my country, but I prefer musicians who don't write artistically inept songs involving a 4th graders view of the country

I was born in a large city. Mellencamp could never understand my American tale.

J-Coug tries to be like Bruce. Bruce tries to be like Dylan. Guys, please. Just stop.

You should have totally picked "There Are No Cats In America" from An American Tail as your "immigrants coming to the US" song.
