That poor odd looking thing is a Pangolin, and for some reason people want to eat it or make medicines out of it, verses leaving it the hell alone.

Great find, rwylie! Wildlife photographers are ridiculously skilled at catching that facial expression, or shadow, or tufty paw, that makes the whole picture amazing.-

They can take a quite 'ordinary' animal and show it in a new light; their job is beyond making nice pictures as well, they also remind us that we take the spectacular diversity of life on our planet for granted.
