Palin power helps McCain draw level in race for the White House
National surveys published over the weekend show the pair in a statistical dead heat, setting up a frenzied final 60 days of campaigning and pinning more importance than ever to the series of candidates' debates.
Against a backdrop of the largest government bail-out of the US housing market since the Great Depression, Senators McCain and Obama were on the stump talking about the economy yesterday, but political attention remained focused on the extraordinary turnaround in Republican fortunes since the nomination of Mrs Palin to the vice-presidency.

this is only temparary, I just can't believe most Americans are retarded enough to think that that hypocritical lightweight could become president and when you see the two stand together how can the thought of that dodering old man possibly, probably dropping not occur to you? What a nightmare, not even that such a nothing could be elected but that there might be so many braindead voters.

George Bush gave hope to stupid preppie slackers who get wherever they are not on talent or ability , but on who their daddy's are. Palin gives hope to any good looking charming hard driving person of absolutly no outstanding ability and of incompetent abilities (research her stunning incompetence only a couple of years ago as mayor of a tiny town that she couldn't handle without help)that one such as she could be president. No intelligence,no good judgment , no experience,is required, only a good story, no shame and the ability to pretend you\re incharge while taking the orders you're given.
