Wild explained: "A customer said they wouldn't even eat there at Subway anymore because of my past work and said that if I wasn't fired then they would boycott the store. Maybe I should take a stand and boycott their store too if they can't let people's privacy be treated right. I should have the right to work anywhere I can and it isn't right or fair that people can keep me from working simply because of a "gay" issue. If a girl did what we do it would probably be ok.. and if a guy does straight porn.. he is bragged about. When I do gay porn, I feel a bit lynched for the rest of my life."
US gay website AfterElton.com also reported the story, which it said raised several questions. "How on Earth did this customer, who apparently isn't a fan of gay porn given his or her response, know that Wild was in gay porn in the first place?" wrote gay blogger Brian Juergens. "And how does having a documented history of being sexually active make you unfit to serve sandwiches? I guess they should fire all of the employees that have children as well?"
What do you make of the story? Do you understand the customer's or manager's reaction? What would you have done?

So the guy knew his face and he was prepared to watch him in porn, but he wasn't prepared to let him make a sandwich? That's shocking, and completely contradictory. Oh, you're good enough to make me come but not good enough to make me a foot-long? Ridiculous. The company should have had the guts to stand up for their employee.

This is wrong on so many levels that I doubt its credibility.

He must have turned down an advance and the guy got pissy.

Haha, pornstar made the customer a 12 inch at home and a six inch at subway. Maybe maybe the customer felt he was getting jipped.
It goes to show, Porn doesn't pay... enough...

So the guy who outed him was happy enough to watch him in his video's (how else would he have recognised him?) But not happy to be served by him in a fast food outlet?? What was he afraid of?? His wife finding out he wacked off to gay porn ;-)
Considering the US is supposed to be the Land of The Free, come on!!! Where was Subway for not protecting the rights of the employee??
I for one, will certainly not use Subway until there is resolution of this issue, have they considered the effect of this upon their sales?? I would rather be served by someone who can do a good job than someone who is an all singing all dancing hetro but crap at their job.
It was not so long ago that the US subscribed to Blacks riding different transport, using different facilities etc, just how far have things moved on???

wow Kurt Wild?! is that his real name or porn name?!
sorry in all seriousness that is majorly f-d up
also Id wouldve loved to have been there when the customer complained...
Customer -"Your worker is a heathen of a slut! He appears nude in gay pornographic magazines! How DARE you employ this filth!"
Manager- "I understand your complaint sir, so just how did you come to find out that he appeared in this magazine."
Customer- "uh well i uh ummmmm....nevermind! Im boycotting!"
Its sad that our country is so anti homosexuality that we have spawned countless closet homosexuals how are so ashamed that they are aggressively homophobic. I live above a gay porn shop (and i love it) and i always see guys hurrying in and out with a look of guilt and shame on their face...then looking down upon a gay couple holding hands walking down the street. embrace your sexuality!

Doing porn and worrying about privacy, that's interesting.
-
It says he doesnt work in the porno business anymore but he does. ya I know from experience, at least I can admit it unlike this jerk-off that complained.

BTW I wonder if this wouldve happened if it was a girl who posed for Playboy or Hustler....hmmmm
-
I hope it would.
Both are sick behaviours

Questions:
1. How did the Customer recognize this Guy?
2. What really happen in the conversation between them?To be honest, I want a Sandwich and I consider this has to be really clean. I would NOT like to get a Sandwich from a Porn Star either. The reality is that the impression is really important. But then it triggers the question:
Where these pre-boxed Sandwiches or hand made by this Pornographer? -
This is too funny. I'd be more interested in how he reported him to the manager.
He recognised him, what was he making the sandwich with?
-
That was a horrible thing for Subway to do, nevermind the prudish and backwards customer. We all have to work, a porn star is a human too

If the fast food outlet was franchised by queers for queers, there shouldn`t be a problem. The public would be in no doubt of the sexuality of those who run it. Conversely, queers would be more comfortable in their own association. It would then be a matter of clear choice by the public. Health issues and the like.

Why would it make any difference if the person making your subway was previously a porn star? Does being in porn make your hands filthy for life? I am pretty sure he probably washed them and even had on gloves.... Although I am pretty sure that is not the point.
I bet there a lot of people in our lives who do things that you have no idea about - and then they make you a cup of tea.Being in porn (any kind) should not mean that you cannot make sandwiches in your spare time, or work in a clothes store, or be a Manager of a large firm.
If this story is true - it is sad that the customer thought he had the right to say anything and a disgrace that the Company fired him. -
OK what's next? I saw her on losing weight at the fat farm so i'm appalled that she's allow to work at the weight loss clinic. Or he was a backstabbing coward and now he's the president---let's impeach him!! gimme a break. This is so stupid and the company is stupid too because if this is what we've come to the people all ove the country will be fired for other past deeds or occupations now wont they. DUM DUM DUM And the guu that pointed him out probably was turned on or titilated and coulndt handle it.
-
He may have been afraid the guy slipped him some "special sauce" on his hoagie!!!! And as i true fan he lapped it up, it was sour and he got mad. He'll probably sue next because he was traumatized by his experience now. Gimmie on break on this one!!!

You know, sometimes its worth it to loose an ass-hole customer in order to keep a good employee.
-
The manager should have told the customer to take his business elsewhere. If I owned a business and anyone told me to fire an employee of mine who was doing his job perfectly well, I'd tell that person to f*** off.
