CAMPAIGN UPDATE knows that election news and weird jokes go together like a popped-collar meathead and a vacant-eyed blonde. Created by Mark Ganek and Brett Erlich, Campaign Update strives to be the dumbest smart show on television.

Let's talk about economic maneuvers. The socialist maneuver in the national takeover of Fannie/Freddie should be acknowledged and the Republicans should be afforded the gratitude of all extreme leftists. A gift, without afterthought; kind of like Medicare Part D, (picture one of those January 09 moments of personal GOP reflection, " What the ...., were we thinking).
Democrats themselves could have not crafted nor passed through this particular legislation; the nationalization of this enormous mortgage entity.
Thank you. No, I mean it, thank you. The best is yet to come. I'm just overwhelmed, I mean without even a fight. Thanks again.
The difference with Lehman Bros and Merrill Lynch is that Bank of American feels confident it's not a cushion bail out and that it can sustain this particular maneuver.
Bail outs as of let's say, yesterday, are now officially not politically a popular maneuver; especially for the GOP.
Now lets talk financial bailouts/cushions.
My mother use to say " there is nothing like eating candy from a box of chocolates, sitting around the kitchen table, talking with friends; but after awhile sitting on the hard chairs, your bottom begins hurting even with a cushion".
She never used a cushion.-

This is past the point of ridiculous.
Really America? Tabloid shit like all this?
Thanks Brett. I guess I'll sort of miss watching campaign update, but I'm not going to miss this race.
