My goal with these coins is not to endorse a Union of North America or a common "Amero" currency. I fully support the United States Constitution, and I would not welcome (in any form) a diminishment of its provisions. I expect that these coins will help make more people aware of the issue and the possible ramifications. I leave it up to others to decide if they are in favor of, or against a North American Union. And I encourage citizens to voice their approval or disapproval of government plans that impact them.

LA TRAGEDIA DEL 911 ANTICIPATA SEI MESI DA UNA SERIE TV!

Il 4 Marzo 2001 (potete verificare la data ovunque) andò in onda sui network televisivi americani, il telefilm "The Lone Gunmen", i cui protagonisti principali sono i "consulenti" di Fox Mulder in "The X-Files", Langly, Byers e Frohike, i cosidetti "Pistoleri Solitari".
Ebbene in questo "spin-off" di X-Files, nella prima puntanta intitolata "Pilot" si trova la "profezia" di un atroce evento che sarebbe avvenuto qualche mese dopo. Nella puntata pilota si vede un Boeing 747 di una comune linea aerea, pieno di passeggeri, dirottato sul... Word Trade Center. Inoltre l’aereo è dirottato “da remoto” sfruttando il pilota automatico e la natura dei mandanti dell’attentato.

Nel telefilm l’attacco sarebbe organizzato da alcuni settori del Governo Federale allo scopo di “giustificare l’aumento delle spese militari e l’attacco ad un paese con un regime non affine agli Stati Uniti“.
E' solo una coincidenza oppure c'è davvero un sospetto (legittimo o meno che sia) che dietro le idee di Chris Carter (ideatore della serie "X Files" e di "The Lone Gunmen") ci sia la supervisione di qualche ente governativo e di "intelligence" USA?

Sopra alcuni spezzoni del telefilm RILEVANTI (in inglese con i sottotitoli in italiano) rispetto ai tragici eventi che sarebbero realmente accaduti 6 mesi dopo...

Perché il ministero della Giustizia americano non ha ancora spiccato un mandato di cattura federale contro Osama Bin Laden per la carneficina dell’11 settembre?

Perché il leader di Al Qaeda, è stato incriminato unicamente per gli attentati contro le ambasciate degli Stati Uniti a Dar-es-Salam in Tanzania e a Nairobi in Kenia, avvenuti il 7 agosto 1998?

Perché non è stata mai resa pubblica la prova del coinvolgimento di Bin Laden negli attentati esibita dall’Amministrazione Bush nell’ottobre del 2001 in una riunione NATO a porte chiuse che convinse gli altri membri dell'organizzazione ad applicare, per la prima volta nella storia dell'Alleanza, l'art. 5 del trattato NATO (secondo cui un attacco a un paese del patto atlantico è considerato rivolto a tutta l'alleanza indistintamente)?

Se è stata scatenata anche una guerra contro l’Afghanistan, per catturare i terroristi di Al Qaeda e il loro capo, perché la Cia nel 2005 ha smantellato Alec Station, l’unità specializzata per la caccia a Bin Laden?

Perché a distanza di sette anni un solo detenuto di Guantanamo, (750 persone transitate, 250 attualmente presenti a “Camp Delta”) Salim Ahmed Hamdan, è stato portato a processo e condannato, non per avere partecipato agli attacchi dell'11 settembre, ma per avere fatto da autista a Osama Bin Laden?

E’ da ritenersi credibile la confessione di Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, presunto stratega dell'11/9, estorta con la tortura come ha ammesso lo stesso governo americano?

Perché il Pentagono ha ritirato le accuse contro Mohammed al Qahtani, il saudita detenuto a Guantanamo sospettato di essere il cosiddetto ventesimo dirottatore mancato dell’11/9?

Perché la Cia distrusse nel 2005 centinaia di ore di registrazioni video che mostravano la detenzione e gli interrogatori di due esponenti di primo piano di Al Qaida, Abu Zubaydah e Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, detenuti a Guantanamo? (Gli interrogatori risalivano al 2002 e furono condotti anche con il ricorso al 'waterboarding', la tecnica di annegamento simulato che da piu' parti e' ritenuta una tortura)

E’ vero come sostiene l’autorevole quotidiano francese Le Figaro che nel luglio del 2001 Bin Laden venne ricoverato in un ospedale americano a Dubai, negli Emirati Arabi Uniti?

E’ vero che in quei giorni avrebbe anche ricevuto la visita del rappresentate locale della Cia?

E’ vero come sostiene la Cbs che la notte prima dell’11 settembre Osama Bin Laden era in Pakistan a farsi curare, per un trattamento di dialisi ai reni, in un ospedale militare di Rawalpindi?

E’ vero che la famiglia Bin Laden ha coltivato per anni rapporti finanziari e commerciali – attraverso il fondo d’investimento Carlyle Group - con alcuni dei personaggi più importanti del partito repubblicano come l'ex presidente George Bush, l'ex segretario di Stato James Baker e l'ex segretario alla difesa Frank Carlucci?

E’ vero che cinque settimane dopo gli attacchi dell’11/9 la famiglia Bin Laden è stata costretta a troncare i rapporti con il gruppo Carlyle?

E’ vero che nell’intervallo tra l’incarico di segretario alla Difesa e quello di vicepresidente degli Usa, Dick Cheney, fu amministratore delegato della Halliburton, beneficiaria di vari progetti milionari di costruzione sauditi e di sfruttamento di nuovi campi petroliferi sia durante che dopo la sua permanenza in carica?

E’ vero che Condoleeza Rice, consigliere per la Sicurezza Nazionale, è stata per molti anni membro del consiglio di amministrazione della Chevron, partner d’affari con la Saudi Aramco, la compagnia nazionale saudita di idrocarburi

E’ vero che il presidente della Commissione d’inchiesta indipendente sull’11/9, Thomas Kean, è stato direttore e azionista dell’Amerada Hess, un gigante petrolifero che si è alleato con una compagnia saudita, la Saudita Oil, per lo sfruttamento di campi petroliferi in Asia Centrale.

Agency Fights Building Code Born of 9/11

WASHINGTON — A federal agency has joined some of the nation’s biggest landlords in trying to repeal stronger safety requirements for new skyscrapers that were added to the country’s most widely used building code last year, arguing that they would be too expensive to meet.

The new provisions, which include requiring tall office buildings to have more robust fireproofing and an extra emergency stairwell, were enacted as a result of an exhaustive federal study into the collapse of the twin towers at the World Trade Center seven years ago this week.

The General Services Administration, which serves as the federal government’s property manager, is now opposing the tougher standards, even though they were based on a report by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which issues recommendations for safety standards after investigating fires and other building catastrophes.

“It does not take a NIST report or a rocket scientist to figure out that requiring additional exit stairs will improve overall occupant evacuation times,” David Frable, a General Services Administration fire safety engineer, wrote in a petition asking the International Code Council to rescind the changes, which go to a vote next week. “The bigger question that needs to be answered is at what economic cost to society?”

Cross made of steel from the World Trade Center in honor of 9/11 victims

As hundreds of firefighters bowed their heads in prayer, a cross made out of steel from the World Trade Center was dedicated Sunday near where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into the ground on Sept. 11.

The 2-ton, 14-foot high cross sits on a concrete base shaped like the Pentagon at the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Co., just a few miles from where the plane crashed into a field. The cross made a 311-mile journey from Brooklyn on Saturday, accompanied by hundreds of motorcyclists, many of them current or retired New York firefighters.

"We wanted to find a home for this steel," said Paddy Concannon, a retired lieutenant from the Fire Department of New York. "This is an effort on our part to tie the three events together: the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville." Space Invaders 9-11 art exhibit causes controversy

An art installation that features Space Invaders aliens attacking an image of the World Trade Center is beginning to draw ire from the mainstream media. Kotaku was the first site to call attention to the exhibit, which was part of a larger tribute to the classic game's 30th anniversary at the Leipzig Games Convention. A Games Convention press release calls the installation an "an articulated and critical commentary about the current war strategy" and "a social tale that can be related to historical tales without losing its poetic power." The New York Daily News ran with a decidedly different take, though, calling the exhibit a "disgrace" in one headline and featuring outraged reactions from families of 9/11 attack victims, who called the game "distasteful" and "disgusting."

The story has been slowly leaking into the mainstream from there. News wire UPI basically echoed the Post piece, while Fox News posted a surprisingly balanced take on the controversy. International wire AFP's story, meanwhile, doesn't seem to see anything wrong with the exhibit at all. So is this piece a triumph or a travesty?
